TN April 22, 2008 – The Board of Directors of Continental
Awards and Trophies, Inc. announced today that Derrick Calcote has
been named president, effective immediately. In a planned transition,
Derrick, who also serves as COO of the company, replaces John Calcote
in this position. John Calcote will continue to serve as CEO and
board chairman.
John Calcote states, “We are all excited about this. While he is experienced
in the industry, Derrick also will bring a fresh perspective as we move forward.”
Derrick adds, “This new position is both a great honor and a great responsibility.
It is going to be an exciting year. In 2008 we are focusing on value added programs
and promotions to generate excitement while making our customers more profitable.
