“Win a Jag from the CAT” Sweepstakes
OFFICIAL RULES
No Purchase Necessary To Enter or Win! Participation constitutes entrant's
full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official
Rules. The “Win a Jag from the CAT” Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes")
will begin at 12:00am Eastern Standard Time ("EST") on February
25, 2008 and end at 11:59pm EST on December 31, 2008 ("Sweepstakes
Period"). Sweepstakes is sponsored by Continental Award & Trophies
Inc., 7920 Stage Hills Blvd. Bartlett, TN 38133 (the "Sponsor"),
who is solely responsible for all aspects of this Sweepstakes.
Eligibility: Sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of the United
States, and the District of Columbia 18 years of age or older, as of “Sweepstakes
Start Date” and are owners of a retail awards business to participate.
The Sweepstakes is not open to the general public. Employees, officers
and directors of the Sponsor, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, advertising
and promotion agencies, (collectively including Sponsor, “Sweepstakes
Entities”) their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings,
spouses) and persons living in the same household (whether related or
not), are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. All federal,
state
and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited.
Two ways to Enter: 1) Place a merchandise order from Continental Award & Trophies
Inc. and you are automatically entered into the Sweepstakes. The owner
of the company placing the order shall be the individual entered in the
Sweepstakes. Each order placed during the Sweepstake period will receive
an additional Sweepstakes entry. All orders must be received by 11:59pm
EST on December 31, 2008.
2) You may enter by hand-printing your name, address, company affiliation,
title, day and night telephone numbers and age on a 3”x 5”card
and mailing it in a standard business-size #10 envelope to: “Win
a Jag from the CAT” Sweepstakes, 1878 East Ave. Rochester, NY 14610.
All mail-in entries must be postmarked by December 26, 2008 and received
by January 3, 2009.
Limit one (1) entry per person per day regardless of method of
entry. Sweepstakes
Entities are not responsible for illegible, damaged, lost, late, misdirected,
incomplete or postage due mail or entries. Sweepstakes Entities reserves
the right to disqualify any person or address suspected of submitting multiple
or fraudulent entries or of tampering with the entry process. All entries
become the property of the Sweepstakes Entities and will not be returned.
Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive a 2008 Jaguar X-Type
Sedan that has an Approximate Retail Value of $35,725. The Grand Prize
winner will have the option of receiving the 2008 Jaguar X-Type Sedan
or a $25,000 check. The Grand Prize winner will be solely responsible
for
all vehicle title, license and registration fees, freight, delivery,
dealer prep, emissions inspection, additional equipment, all federal,
state and
local taxes, insurance, gasoline, vehicle maintenance and all other fees
and expenses associated with receipt and use of the prize vehicle. All
additional automobile options will be the responsibility of the Grand
Prize winner. Grand Prize winner must provide proof of valid insurance
and a
valid driver’s license to take delivery and must take delivery
at a dealership designated by Sponsor within sixty (60) days. The Prize
is
not exchangeable, or transferable. There are no substitutions unless
specified by the Sponsor. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole
discretion to
substitute any prize package with another prize of equal or greater value.
Drawing and Notification: The winners will be selected from among all eligible
entries received, in a random drawing by an independent judging organization,
whose decisions are final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.
The selection of the winners will be completed on or about January 15,
2009. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries
received. Sponsor will work with the prize winner on the delivery of the
prize.
Prize Conditions: The Grand Prize winner will be required to sign an
Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release which needs
to be returned
within 7 days of written notification, or the prize may be forfeited
and an alternate winner selected. All taxes, if applicable, are the sole
responsibility
of the winner. The winner’s entry, and acceptance of the prize offered,
constitutes permission (except where prohibited) for the Sponsor to use
said winner’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical
information, voice and address (city and state), in all forms of media,
in perpetuity, without notice or further compensation.
Terms & Conditions: This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable
federal, state, and local laws. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants
agree to release,
discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor and its parent company,
subsidiaries, affiliates, retailers, distributors and advertising and
promotion agencies, and its and each of their respective directors, officers,
employees,
shareholders and agents from any and all liability, loss, damage or injuries
to any person (including death) or property of any kind sustained in
connection with their participation in the Sweepstakes or from their
acceptance, receipt,
possession and/or use or misuse of the prize, or for any typographical
or other error in the printing, offering or announcement of the prize.
Entrants further acknowledge that said parties have neither made nor
are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation
or
guarantee express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prize,
including, but not limited to, its quality or fitness for a particular
purpose. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with the
Sweepstakes mechanics and/or implementation will be prosecuted to the
fullest extent of the law. By participating, entrants agree to be bound
by these
Official Rules and the decisions of the Sweepstakes Administrator, and
waive any right to claim ambiguity in the sweepstakes or these Official
Rules. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant that Sponsor
determines, in its sole discretion, violates these Official Rules. This
Sweepstakes is void where prohibited.
Winners List: To obtain a winner list, please send a self-addressed,
stamped business size envelope, by February 15, 2009, to: ASC/”Win a Jag
